We are pleased to announce the implementation of a dedicated backup server for NAT Cloud plans, offering the following key benefits:
- Significantly faster backup speed thanks to data deduplication. The initial backup process may take some time, but subsequent backups will be much quicker, depending on the amount of changes made since the last backup.
- Ability to restore not only the entire server but also individual files from the backup, saving time and proving critically useful in certain situations.
- A separate physical server dedicated to data storage, connected to other servers in the cluster via high-speed connectivity, providing additional security for your data.
The price for NAT Cloud plans remains unchanged, and these features will be available at no additional cost.
We are currently evaluating the possibility of implementing similar features for NAT Storage plans, which are used for large-scale data storage. However, due to the volume of data involved, providing such features for free requires further consideration.
The rollout of these features has already begun. The first users will gain access throughout the day, with full implementation expected within a week.
