HO.GE launches an educational program: students and pupils of any Georgian institution get free access to the NAT Cloud plan for learning and personal projects — a safe sandbox to explore Linux and networking.

  • Linux basics: terminal, filesystem, users and permissions, systemd/cron, apt packages.
  • Access & security: SSH keys, SSH tunneling, ufw/iptables, basic backups and logs.
  • Networking & NAT: exposed ports, TCP/UDP, firewall configuration, hardening.
  • Web stack: setup of Nginx/Apache, PHP/Python/Node.js, simple APIs and bots.
  • Databases: MariaDB/PostgreSQL — installation, users, backup and restore.
  • Domains & SSL: DNS records, Let’s Encrypt (HTTPS) with auto-renewal.
  • CI/CD & monitoring: git deploys, webhooks, essential metrics and alerts.

Included: a virtual server in NAT network with port forwarding, basic support and free subdomain. Enough to host a website, a Telegram bot, a REST API or a test database.

How to apply: submit your request with proof of student or pupil status — Student Card, sCool Card, ISIC, or certificate from a Georgian school, college or university.

Practice examples

  • Deploy Nginx + PHP and publish a port via NAT, attach domain and HTTPS.
  • Build a Telegram bot (Python/Node.js), enable logging and auto-restart.
  • Configure PostgreSQL, create user/database, make dump and restore.
  • Make a pet project: ToDo API, small chat or personal portfolio site.

Our goal is to provide real production-like experience in a safe environment, preparing you for hackathons, internships, and your first commercial projects.
